Rolls is Farm, to Family, to Table.

Pictured above are the Cornutt and the Lee children picking strawberries and blueberries for Rolls.

The blueberry patch pictured is Lee Angus Farms, and the strawberry patch is Jerry Marsh Farms. The founder of Rolls, Katie Cornutt, goes out of her way support local businesses by using their fruit for her preserves. Her unique effort not only supports the community, but it adds a special touch to her rolls.

Katie also uses peaches from Chilton County Peaches, another local farm, to make her peach rolls.

“I think it is important for local businesses to be intentional about supporting each other, and picking the fruit locally was a fun activity for my kids”

Once the fruit was picked by the kids, they brought home the fruit and Katie worked her magic and turned the berries into preserves. This is all done right from the kitchen in her home.

Although as easy as that might have sounded, the process of making preserves is not easy. It takes several hours to perfect the consistency of the preserves alone.

Even though Katie is a very busy single mother of three children: Lennon(11) Caroline (8) and Lyla (3), she is always going the extra mile to make Rolls unique and special. She could easily smack some store bought jam on her rolls and call it a day, but she is dedicated to only using the finest ingredients for her business.

Her dedication to details, like making sure the preserves are organic and homemade, is what turned an old family recipe into a popular and fast growing local business.

The fruit rolls are a fun twist on a classic cinnamon roll and are something that make Rolls unique. They are also beautiful…
